7 Survive the Weekend, Remain Unbeaten

This weekend in High School Field Hockey, Tower Hill lost its first game of the season, 1-0 to Wilmington Friends out of Delaware. The rest of the unbeatens we listed won their games and continue their winning streaks. Emmaus High School won a close one against Owen J. Roberts 1-0 and will play again tomorrow Oct. 7th. Penn Manor beat L.L league opponent Cedar Crest and improves to 15-0, but faces long time rival, Warwick this afternoon. The Hotchkiss School out of CT improves to 6-0 as they beat Northfield Mount Hermon. Wyoming Seminary also won and improves to 14-0. Sem is set to play neighbor Crestwood on Tuesday, Oct 7th. Stay tuned as we update high school scores throughout the week.

In collegiate action, #2 Syracuse (12-0), beat Yale to remain the only Division 1 undefeated team. They will head to Maryland this weekend to play a Big East game against Georgetown. IUP and Bowdoin also won to become the only undefeated teams in their respective divisions.
UNC won their rematch with Wake Forest, 4-3, in another classic ACC match-up.
